Homemade Lavender Syrup
If you're looking for an easy and quick way to add a little lavender to your morning coffees or evening cocktails, a syrup is a great option. I love a trickle of this subtle floral accent in my morning latte. This syrup recipe makes about two small dispenser refills and keeps in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
INGREDIANTS:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup dried culinary lavender buds
DIRECTIONS:
Bring your water and sugar to a boil in a small pan. Add your rinsed lavender buds, cover with a lid, cut the heat and let steep for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, strain your buds from the liquid and let cool.
